CPL - Commercial Pilot's Licence
Allows you to make a living from flying. As a Commercial Pilot you are able to enjoy the benefits of flying passengers for fun whilst also giving you the ability to be paid for your flying.
What you need to do :
- You must be at least 18 years old
- obtain a Class 1 medical certificate
- Learn the theory and pass all 7 CASA theory exams. The exams include
- flight rules and air law,
- aerodynamics,
- meteorology,
- navigation,
- aircraft general knowledge,
- human factors,
- Operation, Performance and Flight Planning
- meet the minimum aeronautical experience requirements of 200 hours, which includes a minimum of 100 hours as pilot in command, 20 hours pilot in command cross country and 10 dual instrument flying time
